Door Replacement - Rear Side Access

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear side access door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear side access door inside handle.
3. Remove the rear side access door stationary window.
4. Remove the rear side access door upper latch.
5. Remove the rear side access door lower latch.
6. Remove the rear side access door latch control assembly.
7. Remove the rear side access door weatherstrip.
8. Remove the rear side access door auxiliary weatherstrip.
9. Remove the rear side access door check link.
10. Support the rear side access door.




11. Remove the bolts retaining the rear side access door hinge to the door.
12. With an assistant, remove the rear side access door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. With an assistant, position the rear side access door to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts retaining the rear side access door hinge to the door.

Tighten the rear side access door hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).

3. Install the rear side access door check link.
4. Install the rear side access door auxiliary weatherstrip.
5. Install the rear side access door weatherstrip.
6. Install the rear side access door latch control assembly.
7. Install the rear side access door lower latch.
8. Install the rear side access door upper latch.
9. Install the rear side access door stationary window.
10. Install the rear side access door inside handle.
11. Install the rear side access door trim panel.
12. Check the rear side access door for proper operation and alignment. Refer to Door Adjustment - Rear.
