Door Replacement - Right Rear

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Right (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Right).
2. Remove the right side rear door extension. Refer toExtension Panel Replacement - Rear Door ().
3. Remove the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Handle Replacement - Rear Door Inside (Handle Replacement - Rear Door Inside).
4. Remove the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Handle and License Pocket - Rear Door Outside ([1][2]Door Handle Components).
5. Remove the right side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door (Wiring Harness Replacement - Door).
6. Remove the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer toHinged Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) orRear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) in Stationary Windows.
7. Remove the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower (Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower) in Doors.
8. Remove the right side rear door rear lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door (Lock Replacement - Rear Door) in Doors.
9. Remove the right side rear door speaker, if equipped.
10. Remove the bolts that retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
11. Remove the right side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the right side rear door to the vehicle with an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the right side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
4. Install the right side rear door lock. Refer to Lock Replacement - Rear Door (Lock Replacement - Rear Door) in Doors.
5. Install the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower (Weatherstrip Replacement - Front and Rear Door Lower) in Doors.
6. Install the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) orRear Window Replacement (Service and Repair) in Stationary Windows.
7. Install the right side rear door wiring harness to the door. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door (Wiring Harness Replacement - Door).
8. Install the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Handle and License Pocket - Rear Door Outside ([1][2]Door Handle Components).
9. Install the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Handle Replacement - Rear Door Inside (Handle Replacement - Rear Door Inside).
10. Install the right side rear door extension. Refer to Extension Panel Replacement - Rear Door ().
11. Install the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Right (Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Door - Right).
