Door Replacement - Sliding

Removal Procedure

1. Open and support the sliding side door.
2. Remove the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side) in Interior Trim.




3. Remove the sliding side door center track stop nuts and washers from the vehicle.
4. Remove the sliding side door center track stop from the vehicle.
5. Remove the sliding side door center track cap from the vehicle.




6. Remove the upper roller bolts from the sliding side door.




7. Remove the lower roller bolts from the sliding side door.
8. With an assistant, slide the sliding side door out of the rear of the center track.

Installation Procedure

1. With an assistant, slide the sliding side door into the center track.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the upper roller bolts to the sliding side door.

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




3. Install the lower roller bolts to the sliding side door.

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).




4. Install the center track cap to the vehicle.
5. Install the center track sliding side door stop to the vehicle.
6. Install the center track sliding side door stop nut and washer to the vehicle.
7. Install the passenger side body side trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side (Trim Panel Replacement - Right Body Side) in Interior Trim.
8. Remove the supports.
9. Close the door.
