Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Right

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right (Knee Bolster Replacement - Right).
2. Remove the body control module (BCM).
3. Remove the nuts (1) securing the knee bolster bracket to the instrument panel (I/P).
4. Remove the knee bolster bracket (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Align the knee bolster bracket (2) to the I/P.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts (1).

Tighten the nuts (1) to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Right (Knee Bolster Replacement - Right).
4. Install the body control module.
