Input Shaft Disassemble

^ Tools Required
- J 36513 Gear and Bearing Serparator Plate





Important:
- Only remove the bearings if replacing the bearings. Do not reuse the bearings after removal.
- You must also replace the race for the bearing being replaced.

1. Inspect the bearing for damage or wear.
2. Using a hydraulic press and the J 36513 (1), remove the input shaft bearing.





3. Remove the input shaft oil deflector using a suitable prying tool.
4. Discard the input shaft oil deflector after removal,
