114. Intake Manifold Tube Installation - Federal Emissions

Intake Manifold Tube Installation (Federal Emissions)





1. Install the intake manifold tube gasket.
2. Install the intake manifold tube.

3. Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts in sequence.
^ Tighten the intake manifold tube nuts and bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





4. Install the intake air heater with gasket.
^ Tighten the intake heater to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the turbocharger boost sensor to the intake manifold tube.
6. Install the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt.
^ Tighten the turbocharger boost sensor bracket bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
