73. P1 Planetary Inspection

P1 Planetary Inspection





1. Check the end play between the P1 planetary carrier (1) and the thrust washer (2) at each pinion gear (3).

Replace the P1 planetary carrier assembly if the end play exceeds 1.01 mm (0.004 inch).





2. Inspect the bushing for wear or damage.
3. Measure the ID of the bushing.

Replace the bushing if the ID exceeds 50.69 mm (1.9957 inch).
