Shift Valve Body Disassemble

Tools Required
^ J33163 Valve Tray Set
^ J43773 Valve Spring Compressor





Important: To help prevent confusing parts on reassembly, use J33163 to store the removed shift valve body assembly valves. springs, and stops.

1. Using J43773 (2), compress the C shift spring until retaining clip (1) is loose.
2. Remove the clip.





3. Remove spring (2) and C shift valve (1).





4. Using J43773 (2), compress the E shift spring until retaining clip (1) is loose.
5. Remove the clip.





6. Remove plug (3), spring (2), and E shift valve (1).





7. Using J43773 (2), compress the D shift valve spring until retaining clip (1) is loose.
8. Remove the clip.





9. Remove plug (3), spring (2) and D shift valve (1).





10. Using J43773 (2), compress the control main valve spring until retaining clip (1) is loose.
11. Remove the clip.





12. Remove spring (2) and control main valve (1).





13. Remove solenoid screen (1).
