Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the rear seat head restraint.
3. Remove the rear seat back release latch.




4. Release the seat back cover J-strips (1) along the bottom of the rear seat back.
5. Release the seat back cover hook and loop strips (2) along the bottom sides of the rear seat back.






Important: When separating the seat cover hook and loop retaining strips, do not pull the adhesive-backed strip from the pad.

6. Release the lower hook and loop retaining strips (2) located inside the seat cover (1).
7. Remove the cover (1) from the rear seat back assembly.
8. Carefully remove the seat back pad (3) from the rear seat back frame.


Installation Procedure





1. Position the seat back pad (3) to the rear seat back frame.
2. Install the cover (1) to the rear seat back assembly.
3. Pull the seat cover down over the seat back pad.
4. Press the seat cover hook and loop retaining strips (2) together by firmly running your hand over the seat back cover.




5. Install the seat back cover J-strips (1) along the bottom of the rear seat back.
6. Install the seat back cover hook and loop strips (2) along the bottom sides of the rear seat back.
7. Install the rear seat back release latch.
8. Install the rear seat head restraint.
9. Install the rear seat from the vehicle.
