Door Replacement - Side Rear

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear inside door handle.
3. Remove the rear door water deflector.
4. Remove the rear door window run channel.
5. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip.
6. Remove the rear door window.
7. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip.
8. Remove the rear door window regulator.
9. Remove the rear door outside handle.
10. Remove the rear door lock.
11. Remove the rear door speaker.
12. Remove the rear door weatherstrip.
13. Remove the rear door check link.
14. Remove the rear door wiring harness.




15. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.
16. With an assistant, lift the rear door up off the body side hinges.
17. Remove the rear door side hinges.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear door side hinges.
2. With an assistant, lower the rear door down onto the body side hinge straps.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the bolts (1) retaining the rear door hinge keeper straps.

Tighten the hinge keeper strap bolts to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).

4. Install the rear door wiring harness.
5. Install the rear door check link.
6. Install the rear door weatherstrip.
7. Install the rear door speaker.
8. Install the rear door lock.
9. Install the rear door outside handle.
10. Install the rear door window regulator.
11. Install the rear door window weatherstrip.
12. Install the rear door window.
13. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip.
14. Install the rear door window run channel.
15. Install the rear door water deflector.
16. Install the rear door inside handle.
17. Install the rear door trim panel.
