Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER OUTLET DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamps.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (1) from the following:
- The air cleaner assembly
- The air cleaner resonator

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the following:
- The air cleaner assembly
- The air cleaner resonator

IMPORTANT: Ensure the notches (2) on the air cleaner outlet duct (1) are aligned with the following:
- The air cleaner assembly tang (4)
- The air cleaner resonator tang (3)

2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
