Seat Cushion Frame Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer toSeat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer toSeat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
3. Remove the bolts (7) retaining the seat back hinge / recliner mechanisms (6) to the seat cushion frame. Refer to Seat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front (Seat Back Hinge/Recliner Mechanism Replace - Front) .




4. Remove the bolts (4) retaining the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.




5. Remove the power seat switch bracket (2), if equipped.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the power seat switch bracket (2) to the seat cushion frame, if equipped.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the screws (3) to retain the power seat switch bracket.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).





3. Install the bolts (4) retaining the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.
4. Install the bolts (4) to retain the seat cushion frame to the adjuster.

Tighten the screws to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).





5. Install the bolts (7) to retain the seat cushion frame.
6. Install the bolts (7).

Tighten the bolts to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

7. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer toSeat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
8. Install the front seat into the vehicle. Refer toSeat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
