59. 2ND Clutch Plate Inspection

2nd Clutch Plate Inspection





Important:
^ Measure as described below at 3 or more locations.
^ Check the plates for coning on a level surface.
^ Replace any parts not meeting specifications.

1. Measure the thickness of each 2nd clutch fiber plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch fiber plate minimum thickness is 2.375 mm (0.0935 inch).
2. Measure the oil groove depth of each 2nd clutch fiber plate (1) at dimension B.
The 2nd clutch fiber plate oil groove minimum depth is 0.2 mm (0.0079 inch).





3. Measure the cone of each 2nd clutch fiber plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch fiber plate maximum cone is 0.225 mm (0.0089 inch).





4. Measure the thickness of each 2nd clutch steel plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch steel plate minimum thickness is 2.44 mm (0.096 inch).





5. Measure the cone of each 2nd clutch steel plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch steel plate maximum cone is 0.4 mm (0.0157 inch).





6. Measure the thickness of the 2nd clutch spring plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch spring plate minimum thickness is 3.11 mm (0.1224 inch).





7. Measure the cone of the 2nd clutch spring plate (1) at dimension A.
The 2nd clutch spring plate maximum cone is 0.4 mm (0.0157 inch).
