Motor Replacement - Power Window

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the electrical connector from the power window motor (2).
4. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the power window motor (2) to the front door module (1).
5. Remove the power window motor (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power window motor (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts (3) in order to retain the power window motor (2) to the front door module (1).

Tighten the retaining nuts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

3. Install the electrical connector to the power window motor (2).
4. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair).
Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Service and Repair).
