86. Engine Flywheel Installation - Automatic Transmission

Engine Flywheel Installation (Automatic Transmission)





Important: Make sure the flexplate is installed correctly. Engine Side is stamped on the flexplate to assist with installation.

1. Install the engine flexplate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the engine flexplate bolts. Tighten the fasteners following a crisscross pattern.
^ Tighten the engine flexplate bolts a first pass to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the engine flexplate bolts a second pass to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the engine flexplate bolts a final pass to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
