POWER WINDOWS INOPERATIVE - ALL
DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
- If the PWR WDO circuit breaker cycles, the cause could be one of the following:
- A short to ground in the RAP fuse supply voltage circuit
- A short to ground in one of the power window signal or power window motor control circuits-This would cycle the PWR WDO circuit breaker with a switch activation.
- The WIN RAP relay supplies voltage to the power window system anytime the ignition is in the Accessory or RUN position and also during retained accessory power (RAP) mode. If voltage is not available to the PWR WND circuit breaker, the cause could be any of the following:
- The presence of DTC B1477 or B1478 in the BCM
- The WIN RAP relay battery supply voltage circuit is open or shorted to ground
- The WIN RAP relay ground circuit is open
- A faulty WIN RAP relay
