Rear Side Door Replacement

Tools Required

* J 41226 Door Hinge Pin Drillout Kit
* J 41226-50 Door Hinge Pin Adapter Kit

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the side rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the hinged side window or the stationary side window.
3. Remove the weatherstrips, if needed.
4. Remove the side rear door upper and lower door wedges from the door.
5. Remove the upper and the lower door latches.
7. Remove the latch handle.
8. Remove the latch striker.




9. Remove the side rear door hinge pins using the J 41226 and the J 41226-50.
10. Remove the side rear door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the side rear door to the vehicle with an assistant.
2. Install the side rear door hinge pins using the J 41226 and the J 41226-50.
3. Install the latch striker.
4. Install the latch handle.
5. Install the latch rods to the door.
6. Install the upper and the lower door latches.
7. Install the side rear door upper and lower door wedges to the door.
8. Install the weatherstrips, if needed.
9. Install the hinged side window or the stationary side window.
10. Install the side rear door trim panel.
