Tilt Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the tilt spring.
2. Remove the tilt lever bolt.
3. Remove the tilt lever.

Installation Procedure





1. Align the tilt lever in the steering column.

2. Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the tilt lever bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 1 Nm (9 inch lbs.).

3. Install the tilt spring.
