Engine Flywheel Installation (Automatic Transmission)





1. Important: Ensure the flex plate is installed correctly. Engine Side is stamped on the flex plate to assist with installation.

Install the engine flex plate.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the engine flex plate bolts. Tighten the bolts following a crisscross pattern.
^ Tighten the engine flex plate bolts a first pass to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the engine flex plate bolts a second pass to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the engine flex plate bolts a final pass to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
