Floor Console Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove both front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
2. Remove the upper console bezel. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Luxury Upper) Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Non-Luxury Lower) Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Non-Luxury Upper) .
3. Remove the cupholder. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement (Luxury) Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement (Non-Luxury) .




4. Remove the screws (1) retaining the console to the instrument panel (I/P).
5. Move the console assembly rearwards in order to disconnect the wire connectors.
6. Remove the console assembly from the vehicle.
7. Remove the console bin. Refer to Console Storage Bin Replacement (Pro) Console Storage Bin Replacement (Expect Pro) .
8. Remove the amplifier and bracket from the console bracket.
9. Remove the fasteners retaining the console to the bracket.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the console to the bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

2. Install the fasteners retaining the console to the bracket.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (17 lb in).

3. Install the amplifier and bracket to the console bracket. Refer to Amplifier Replacement .
4. Install the console bin. Refer to Console Storage Bin Replacement (Pro) Console Storage Bin Replacement (Expect Pro) .
5. Install the rear seat audio control to the console, if equipped. Refer to Rear Seat Audio Control Replacement .




6. Install the console in the vehicle.
7. Connect the wire connectors.
8. Move the console forward in order to install the retaining screws.
9. Install the 2 screws.

Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

10. Install the cupholder to the console. Refer to Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement (Luxury) Front Floor Console Cup Holder Replacement (Non-Luxury) .
11. Install the upper console bezel. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Luxury Upper) Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Non-Luxury Lower) Floor Console Bezel Replacement (Non-Luxury Upper) .
12. Install both front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
