Intake Manifold Removal





1. Disconnect and remove the fresh air positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the left camshaft cover fitting.




2. Remove the rear intake manifold insulator.




3. Disconnect and remove the dirty air PCV hose from the intake manifold and the right camshaft cover fitting.




4. Remove the front intake manifold insulator.




5. Disconnect and remove the intake manifold-to-solenoid evaporative emission (EVAP) hose from the intake manifold and from the EVAP solenoid.




6. Remove the EVAP solenoid bolt.




7. Remove the EVAP solenoid.




8. Remove the right intake manifold insulator bolts.




9. Remove the right intake manifold insulator.




10. Remove the left intake manifold insulator bolts.




11. Remove the left intake manifold insulator.




12. Remove the long intake manifold bolts.




13. Remove the short intake manifold bolts.




14. Remove the intake manifold assembly.




15. Remove and discard the lower intake manifold gasket.
