Front Door: Adjustments



Front Side Door Adjustment

Adjustment Procedure

1. With the door closed, inspect the following gaps. If adjustment is necessary, loosen the front door hinge bolts and adjust the door by moving the door in the following directions:

* Upward or downward
* Forward or rearward
* Inward or outward




2. Adjust the front door to rocker panel gap (B) to 4.5-6.5 mm (0.18-0.26 in).
3. Adjust the front door to roof flushness (A) to 0-1.5 mm (0-0.06 in).




4. Adjust the front door to rear side access door gap (A) to 3.5-6.5 mm (0.14-0.26 in).
5. Adjust the front door to rear side access door flushness (B) to 0-1.5 mm (0-0.06 in).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

6. When the proper adjustment specifications are set, tighten the hinge bolts.

Tighten the hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
