Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Raise the front door window.
4. Remove the front door window weatherstrip from the window run channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement) .




5. Remove the bolt retaining the bottom of the window run channel (2) to the door inner panel.
6. Slide the upper window run channel tab (1) out of the front door window frame.
7. Remove the window run channel from the front door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door window run channel into the front door.
2. Install the upper window run channel tab (1) into the front door window frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the bolt retaining the bottom of the window run channel (2) to the door inner panel.

Tighten the front window run channel bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the front door window weatherstrip to the window run channel. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement) .
5. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
