Inflatable Restraint Vehicle Rollover Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Caution (SIR Caution) .
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .




2. Fold back the carpet in order to gain access to the sensor. Refer to Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the nuts securing the rollover sensor to the floor panel.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the nuts securing the rollover sensor to the floor panel.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the carpet. Refer to Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (Service and Repair) .
