Rear Door Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right side rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the right side rear door extension.
3. Remove the right side rear door inside handle.
4. Remove the right side rear door outside handle.
5. Remove the right side rear door wiring harness from the door.
6. Remove the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed.
7. Remove the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed.
8. Remove the right side rear door rear lock.
9. Remove the right side rear door speaker, if equipped.
10. Remove the bolts that retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
11. Remove the right side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the right side rear door to the vehicle with an assistant.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the right side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
4. Install the right side rear door lock.
5. Install the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed.
6. Install the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed.
7. Install the right side rear door wiring harness to the door.
8. Install the right side rear door outside handle.
9. Install the right side rear door inside handle.
10. Install the right side rear door extension.
11. Install the right side rear door trim panel.
