Rear Door Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the left side rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear door extension.
3. Remove the left side rear door latches.
4. Remove the left side rear door latch handle.
5. Remove the left side rear door wiring harness from the door.
6. Remove the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed.
7. Remove the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed.
8. Remove the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
9. Remove the bolts that retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
10. Remove the left side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left side rear door to the vehicle with an assistance.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the left side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.

Tighten the retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the left side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped.
4. Install the left side rear door weatherstrips, if needed.
5. Install the left side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed.
6. Install the left side rear door wiring harness to the door.
7. Install the left side rear door latch handle.
8. Install the left side rear door latches.
9. Install the rear door extension.
10. Install the left side rear door trim panel.
