Scan Tool Data Definitions
Calculated Hybrid Battery Current
- This parameter displays the hybrid battery current as determined by the BECM from the sensor in Amps. This is a signed value. "+" sign represents charge and "-" sign represents discharge.
Calculated Hybrid Battery Resistance
- This parameter displays the impedance (in ohms) of the hybrid battery, as calculated by the BECM.
Contactor System Open Reasons
- This parameter displays the reasons why the hybrid battery contactor is "open" as determined by the BECM.
Contactor System Request Signal Command
- This parameter displays the discrete PWM command from the HPCM for the hybrid battery contactor control as determined by the BECM.
Contactor System Status
- This parameter displays the status of the hybrid battery contactor as determined by the BECM.
Current Sensor High Range
- This parameter displays the hybrid battery current sensor high range value in Amps as determined by the BECM.
Current Sensor Low Range
- This parameter displays the hybrid battery current sensor low range value in Amps as determined by the BECM.
Current Sensor Medium Range
- This parameter displays the hybrid battery current sensor medium range value in Amps as determined by the BECM.
High Voltage Interlock Circuit (HVIC) Source Current
- This parameter displays the current sourced in milli amps for HVIC detection as determined by the BECM.
High Voltage Interlock Circuit (HVIC) Return Current
- This parameter displays the return current in milli amps for HVIC detection as determined by the BECM.
HV Isolation Diagnostic Fault Status
- This parameter displays the status of the "HV Isolation Test" diagnostic after running during normal vehicle operation or after running the special functions device control located under the BECM menu. This parameter can display Not Run, Running, Run and Passed, or Run and Failed.
Hybrid Battery 1-20
- This parameter displays the voltage of the hybrid battery voltage measurements #1-20 of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Contactor Closure Inhibit Time Remaining
- This parameter displays the time remaining in seconds before the BECM would attempt another pre charge.
Hybrid Battery Current Sensor Volts
- This parameter displays the hybrid battery current as determined by the BECM from the sensor in Volts.
Hybrid Battery Inlet Air Temperature
- This parameter displays the inlet temperature (in °C) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Inlet Air Temperature
- This parameter displays the inlet temperature (in Volts) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Maximum Cell Temperature
- This parameter displays the maximum temperature of all the battery modules as determined by the BECM.

- This parameter displays the minimum temperature of all the battery modules as determined by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Module 1 Temperature
- This parameter displays the temperature of certain set of battery Modules (in °C) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.

- This parameter displays the temperature of certain set of battery Modules (in volts) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Module 2 Temperature
- This parameter displays the temperature of certain set of battery Modules (in °C) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Module 2 Temperature Sensor
- This parameter displays the temperature of certain set of battery Modules (in volts) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.

- This parameter displays the temperature of certain set of battery Modules (in °C) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.

- This parameter displays the outlet temperature (in °C) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.

- This parameter displays the voltage of the hybrid battery, as calculated by the BECM by summing up the module voltages.

- This parameter displays the speed of the Battery Fan in RPM, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Pack Fan Commanded
- This parameter displays the duty cycle of the Battery Fan command in percent, as determined by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Pack Resistance
- This parameter displays the impedance (in ohms) of the hybrid battery, as measured by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Power Available
- This parameter displays the charge power available from the hybrid battery as determined by the BECM.
Hybrid Battery Resistance

- This parameter displays the hybrid battery voltage as measured at the battery terminals by the BECM on the vehicle side of the High Voltage contactor relays.
Ignition 1 Signal
- This parameter displays the value of the input voltage to the BECM, as measured by the BECM.
Isolation Test Resistance
- This parameter displays the AC resistance (in ohms) as determined by the BECM during the last AC isolation check at power down.
