Scan Tool Data Definitions - Continued

Hybrid Batt Mod Voltage
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to hybrid battery module voltage. Autostart is requested when hybrid battery module voltage is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Hybrid Batt Mod Voltage as Yes or No.

Hybrid Batt. Power
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to hybrid battery power. Autostart is requested when hybrid battery power is less than a calibrated value. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Hybrid Batt Power as Yes or No.

ECT
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to engine coolant temperature (ECT). Autostart is requested when ECT is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays ECT as Yes or No.

Motor Temperature
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to motor temperature. Autostart is requested when motor temperature is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Motor Temperature as Yes or No.

Inverter Temperature
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to inverter temperature. Autostart is requested when inverter temperature is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Inverter Temperature as Yes or No.

Aux. Trans. Fluid Pump
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to an auxiliary transmission fluid pump fault. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Aux. Trans. Fluid Pump as Yes or No.

Ignition Crank
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to ignition switch position. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Ignition Crank as Yes or No.

Autostart Override
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to a scan tool autostart device control request. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Autostart Override as Yes or No.

Min. Run Time Not Met
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to time conditions. Autostart is requested when a minimum engine run time period has not been met. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Min. Run Time Not Met as Yes or No.

Driveability
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostart request due to driveability conditions. Autostart is requested when minimum driveability requirements cannot be maintained. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Driveability as Yes or No.

Autostop Inhibit Reasons

Run/Crank Not Active
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to ignition switch position. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Run/Crank Not Active as Yes or No.

Hood Open
- This parameter displays the status of the hood latch switch as determined by the engine control module (ECM). The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays hood open status as Yes or No.

ECM Request
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit by the engine control module (ECM). The ECM requests an Autostop inhibit when certain ECM DTC's are currently testing or have failed. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays ECM Request as Yes or No.

IMS Range
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to IMS Range selection. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays IMS Range as Yes or No.

Hybrid Battery SOC
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to hybrid battery state of charge. Autostop is inhibited when hybrid battery SOC is less than a calibrated value. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Hybrid Battery SOC as Yes or No.

Hybrid Batt Mod Voltage
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to hybrid battery module voltage. Autostop is Inhibited when hybrid battery module voltage is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Hybrid Batt Mod Voltage as Yes or No.

Hybrid Batt. Power
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to hybrid battery power. Autostop is inhibited when hybrid battery power is less than a calibrated value. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Hybrid Batt Power as Yes or No.

- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop inhibit due to inverter temperature. Autostop is inhibited when inverter temperature is not within a calibrated value range. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Inverter Temperature as Yes or No.

Aux. Trans. Fluid Pump
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop inhibit due to an auxiliary transmission fluid pump fault. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Aux. Trans. Fluid Pump as Yes or No.

Ignition Crank
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop inhibit due to ignition switch position. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Ignition Crank as Yes or No.

Autostart Override
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop inhibit due to a scan tool autostart device control request. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Autostart Override as Yes or No.

Min. Run Time Not Met
- This parameter displays the status of an Autostop Inhibit due to time conditions. Autostop is inhibited when a minimum engine run time period has not been met. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) displays Min. Run Time Not Met as Yes or No.

Hybrid Transmission Operation Data

Engine Speed
- This parameter displays the rotations per minute (rpm) of the internal combustion engine (ICE) crankshaft position sensor (CKP) as detected by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The CKP sensor signal is shared by the HPCM and the ECM. The HPCM detects rotational speed in a range from 0-16,383.75 RPM.

Vehicle Speed
- This parameter displays the vehicle speed as detected by the engine control module (ECM). The vehicle speed is detected in a range from 0-255 km/h (0-158 mph).

Transmission Output Speed
- This parameter displays the rotations per minute (rpm) of the transmission output shaft as detected by the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). The VSS is monitored by the TCM. The sensor detects rotational speed in a range from 0-8192 RPM.

TR Switch
- This parameter displays the transmission gear selected as detected by the internal mode switch (IMS). The IMS contains two discrete shift lever-actuated switch patterns. The IMS range switch pattern is monitored by the TCM and is utilized to determine gear range as selected by the shift lever. The IMS direction switch pattern is monitored by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) and is utilized to determine vehicle direction and the Park/Neutral start safety condition as selected by the shift lever. The TR Switch displays the decoded signal of the IMS range switch as PARK, REVERSE, NEUTRAL, DRIVE 4, MANUAL and INVALID.

Transfer Case Ratio
- This parameter displays the transfer case gear ratio as determined by the TCM. The TCM determines the ratio in a range from 0-3.984375.

Gear Ratio
- This parameter displays the transmission gear ratio as determined by the TCM. The TCM determines the ratio in a range from 0-3.984375.

Torque Delivered Signal

Regenerative Braking Axle Torque Request
- This parameter displays braking torque as determined by the electronic brake control module (EBCM). The EBCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Engine Torque Actual
- This parameter displays actual engine torque as determined by the engine control module (ECM). The ECM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Engine Torque Commanded
- This parameter displays commanded engine torque as determined by the engine control module (ECM). The ECM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Drvr Axle Torque Request
- This parameter displays requested axle torque as determined by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Axle Torque Commanded
- This parameter displays commanded axle torque as determined by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Axle Torque Actual
- This parameter displays actual axle torque as determined by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Regen. Brake Torque Predicted
- This parameter displays the predicted brake torque required when operating in the regenerative hybrid mode as determined by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Total Brake Torque
- This parameter displays the total brake torque required when braking as determined by the electronic brake control module (EBCM). The EBCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

Axle Torque Immediate
- This parameter displays the immediate axle torque required when accelerating as determined by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM). The HPCM determines torque in a range from -8192 to +8191.75 N.m.

ICE Status
- This parameter displays the current status of the internal combustion engine (ICE) as determined by the ECM. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) monitors the ECM for this data in order to determine ICE status. The ECM detects the engine status modes of Off, Start, Running, Stop and Failed/Stalled.

ICE Cranking Speed Commanded
- This parameter displays the requested rotations per minute (rpm) of the engine crankshaft during a cranking event. The ECM determines the internal combustion engine (ICE) cranking speed for current conditions such as engine temperature. The ECM will requests a certain cranking speed be delivered by the hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) when the hybrid system cranks the ICE. The ECM requests ICE crank speed in a range from 0-2040 rpm.

ICE Cranking Status
- This parameter displays the status of the internal combustion engine (ICE) crank request of the ECM. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) monitors the ECM for this data in order to determine whether to enable or disable ICE cranking. Crank Aborted will be displayed when the ECM has detected conditions such as theft deterrent that disable the ICE crank event.

APP Angle
- This parameter displays the position of the accelerator pedal as detected by the ECM. The hybrid powertrain control module (HPCM) monitors the ECM for this data in order to determine the operators request for vehicle acceleration and deceleration. The HPCM detects pedal position in a range from 0-99.6 percent. 99.6 percent is displayed when the pedal is fully depressed.

Motor 1 Temperature
- This parameter displays the temperature of the Motor 1 temperature sensor as detected by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects motor temperature is a range from -40°C to +215°C (-40°F to +419°F).

Motor 2 Temperature
- This parameter displays the temperature of the Motor 2 temperature sensor as detected by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects motor temperature is a range from -40°C to +215°C (-40°F to +419°F).

Motor 1 Torque Commanded
- This parameter displays the commanded torque of Motor 1 as determined by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects torque in a range from -512 to +508 N.m.

Motor 2 Torque Commanded
- This parameter displays the commanded torque of Motor 2 as determined by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects torque in a range from -512 to +508 N.m.

Motor 1 Torque Actual
- This parameter displays the actual torque of Motor 1 as determined by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects torque in a range from -512 to +508 N.m.

Motor 2 Torque Actual
- This parameter displays the actual torque of Motor 2 as determined by the motor control module (MCM). The MCM detects torque in a range from -512 to +508 N.m.
