Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the front window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
4. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the window weatherstrip (3) from the front door window channel (4), by squeezing the weatherstrip together, and pulling the weatherstrip out of the channel.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front door window weatherstrip to the front door.
2. Insert the lower window channel weatherstrip between the door inner and outer panels.
3. Locate the window weatherstrip to the door frame using the locator tab (2) on the weatherstrip to the notch (1) in the door window channel.
4. Firmly seat the window weatherstrip (3) into the front door window channel (4).
5. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the front window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
