Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the 2 headlamp trim plate retaining nuts.
4. Use a plastic flat bladed tool in order to release the retaining clips.
5. Remove the headlamp trim plate from the instrument panel (I/P).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the headlamp trim plate to the I/P, ensuring the retaining clips are fully seated.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the 2 headlamp trim plate retaining screws.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

3. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (Service and Repair).
