Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement (With Bench Seat)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Rear Bench Seat Replacement).
2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement).
3. Remove the seat belt buckles. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Replacement).
4. Remove the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Bench Seat) (Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Bench Seat))Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Split Bench) (Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Split Bench)).





Note: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

5. Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.




6. Remove the seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the seat cushion frame.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly and tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
3. Install the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Bench Seat) (Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Bench Seat))Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Split Bench) (Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear (with Split Bench)).
4. Install the seat belt buckles. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Replacement).
5. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement).
6. Install the rear seat into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement (Rear Bench Seat Replacement).
