Rear Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the striker. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Striker Replacement - Lower (Cargo Doors) (Service and Repair)Rear Side Door Latch Striker Replacement - Lower (Double Doors) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the cargo door lamp. Refer to Cargo Lamp Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the cargo door assist rods. Refer to Cargo Door Assist Rod Replacement (Cargo Door Assist Rod Replacement).
4. Remove hinge. Refer to Rear Door Hinge Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. With the aid of an assistant, remove the door.

Installation Procedure

1. With the aid of an assistant, install the door to the vehicle.
2. Install the hinges. Refer to Rear Door Hinge Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Install the cargo door assist rods. Refer to Cargo Door Assist Rod Replacement (Cargo Door Assist Rod Replacement).
4. Install the strikers. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Striker Replacement - Lower (Cargo Doors) (Service and Repair)Rear Side Door Latch Striker Replacement - Lower (Double Doors) (Service and Repair).
5. Install the cargo door lamp. Refer to Cargo Lamp Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Inspect for proper operation.
