A revised style of body side moldings is being installed on the above listed vehicles. This change affects vehicles built after 03-30-2009. This change will affect the following items:
- Some customers may comment about the difference in appearance from earlier production vehicles (same trim level, different appearance). The revised style will be the only available production option.
- There is no RPO or other change to assist in the identification of original vs. revised molding applications.
- The door mounted name plate may be located in a different location to accommodate the revised style molding.
Parts Information
For vehicles built within 30 days of the above listed date, it is recommended that a physical inspection be performed of the vehicle to ensure that the correct style molding is ordered.
Also note that during the supplier transition, some of the service parts may be shipped in various colors instead of white. These are still intended to be paint to match. When the transition is complete, the service parts will return to the white paint to match style.
