Air Temperature Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).




2. Remove screws in order to separate the HVAC module assembly.
3. Remove the air temperature cam screw.
4. Remove the air temperature cam.
5. Remove the air temperature door linkage.
6. Separate the HVAC module case halves.
7. Remove the air temperature door (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air temperature door (2) to the HVAC module.
2. Assemble the HVAC module case halves.
3. Install the air temperature door linkage.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the screws in order to assemble the HVAC module. Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).
5. Install the air temperature cam.
6. Install the screw to the air temperature cam. Tighten the screw to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).
7. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
