Power Steering Pump Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LLV, LLR) (Power Steering Pump Replacement) Power Steering Pump Replacement (LH8) (Power Steering Pump Replacement).
2. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement () for the 2.9L engine or Drive Belt Tensioner Removal () for the 3.7L engine.
3. Remove the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts.
4. Remove the power steering pump bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power steering pump bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
3. Install the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement () for the 2.9L engine or Drive Belt Tensioner Removal () for the 3.7L engine.
4. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LLV, LLR) (Power Steering Pump Replacement) Power Steering Pump Replacement (LH8) (Power Steering Pump Replacement).
