9. Transmission Front Case Assemble

Transmission Front Case Assemble





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Using a 13 mm socket, install the 2 oil baffle screws.




2. The anchor support assembly shows, 3 springs, 3 bushings, 2 pistons, and 1 support.




3. Assemble the 3 springs and 3 bushings.




4. Using pliers, install the 2 anchor pistons.




5. Using a wire, block the anchor bushings in order to ease in the assembly of the shift levers.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

6. Using a 10 mm socket, install the anchor support assembly screws and tighten to 18-37 Nm (18-27 lb ft).




7. Using a driving tool, install a new oil seal if it was removed.




8. Using a 13 mm socket, temporarily install 7 bearing retaining bolts in the clutch housing.




9. Install the gear train spacer.




10. In the gear train housing, temporarily install new shims until the axial play is correct.




11. Using a hammer, install the drive shaft bearing race.




12. In the drive shaft housing, temporarily install new shims until the axial play is correct.
13. Install the roller cage inside the drive shaft.
