Rear Seat Adjuster Track Adjustment

Inspection and Cleaning Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement Rear Seat Replacement.
2. Inspect the seat track for debris or foreign materials, if the track needs to be cleaned, perform the following steps:

Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Warning (Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Warning).


Note: Use care when using compressed air to clear the sunroof drain hose. Do not exceed 241 kPa (35 psi).

* Use a flexible wire or 689 kPa (100 psi) of compressed air to clear any material plugging the obstructing the seat track.
* The mechanical components of the seat track assembly receive lubrication during assembly. If any seat track needs additional lubrication, use multi-purpose lubricant GM P/N 12346241 (Canadian P/N 10953474) or equivalent.

3. Install the rear seat and test for proper operation. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement Rear Seat Replacement.
