Rear Door Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side).
2. Remove the right side rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement ().
3. Remove the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Door Inside Handle Replacement).
4. Remove the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Rear Door Outside Handle and License Pocket Replacement ().
5. Remove the right side rear door wiring harness from the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement (Door Wiring Harness Replacement).
6. Remove the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement (Hinged Rear Window Replacement) or Rear Window Replacement (Rear Window Replacement).
7. Remove the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Front or Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement (Front or Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement).
8. Remove the right side rear door rear lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement (Rear Door Lock Replacement).
9. Remove the right side rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement (Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement).
10. Remove the bolts that retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body.
11. Remove the right side rear door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the right side rear door to the vehicle with an assistant.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts in order to retain the right side rear door upper and the lower door hinges to the body and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
3. Install the right side rear door rear door speaker, if equipped. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement (Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement).
4. Install the right side rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement (Rear Door Lock Replacement).
5. Install the right side rear door weatherstrips, if needed. Refer to Front or Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement (Front or Rear Side Door Lower Weatherstrip Replacement).
6. Install the right side rear door hinged rear window or stationary window, if needed. Refer to Hinged Rear Window Replacement (Hinged Rear Window Replacement) or Rear Window Replacement (Rear Window Replacement).
7. Install the right side rear door wiring harness to the door. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement (Door Wiring Harness Replacement).
8. Install the right side rear door outside handle. Refer to Rear Door Outside Handle and License Pocket Replacement ().
9. Install the right side rear door inside handle. Refer to Rear Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Door Inside Handle Replacement).
10. Install the right side rear door extension. Refer to Rear Door Outer Extension Panel Replacement ().
11. Install the right side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side).
