Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Caution (Service Precautions).
1. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
2. Siphon the fluid from the reservoir to prevent excessive spillage.
3. Remove the reservoir inlet hose (3) from the power brake booster (2). DO NOT reuse clamps.
4. Remove the reservoir inlet hose (3) from the reservoir. DO NOT reuse clamps.
5. Remove the reservoir inlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
1. Route the hose in the same position the hose occupied prior to removal.
2. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the reservoir. Reposition and secure clamps.
3. Install the reservoir inlet hose (3) to the power brake booster (2). Reposition and secure clamps.
4. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
