Main Valve Body Assemble

Special Tools
* J 33163 - Valve Tray Set
* J 43773 - Valve Spring Compressor

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Allison - Automatic Transmission).





Note: To prevent confusing parts during assembly, the removed valves, springs, and stops are stored in J 33163 - valve tray set.

1. Install the exhaust pressure regulator valve (1) and spring (2).




2. Compress the spring with J 43773 - compressor (2).
3. Install the retaining clip (1).
4. Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.




5. Install the control relief valve (1) and spring (2).




6. Compress the spring with J 43773 - compressor (2).
7. Install the retaining clip (1).
8. Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.




9. Install the pressure control solenoid 1 (PCS1) spring (3) and valve (4).
10. Compress the spring with J 43773 - compressor (1).
11. Install the retaining clip (2). Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.
12. Install the PCS2 spring (5) and valve (6).
13. Compress the spring with J 43773 - compressor (1).
14. Install the retaining clip (2). Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.




15. Install the torque converter clutch pressure control solenoid (TCC PCS) spring (4) and TCC PCS valve (3).
16. Compress the spring with J 43773 - compressor (1).
17. Install the retaining clip (2). Make sure the retaining clip is below the valve body surface.
