Fuel Feed Pipe and Fuel Rail Removal




1. Remove the upper fuel pipe bracket clip bolt (2).
2. Remove the upper fuel pipe bracket clip (3).
3. Remove the fuel feed pipe bolt (4).
4. Remove the fuel feed pipe (5).
5. Remove the fuel feed pipe hose (1).
6. Remove the fuel temperature sensor (6).




7. Disconnect the fuel return pipe fitting (1).
8. Remove the fuel return pipe bolt (4).
9. Remove the fuel return pipe (3).
10. Remove the fuel return hose (2).




11. Remove the fuel return pipe bracket bolt (2).
12. Remove the fuel return pipe (3).
13. Remove the fuel return hose (1).




14. Remove the fuel pressure sensor (2).
15. Remove the fuel pressure sensor bracket bolt (1).
16. Remove the fuel pressure sensor bracket (4).
17. Remove the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose (3).




18. Disengage the fuel return line by pulling upward on the cylindrical locking sleeve (1).
19. Remove the fuel return line (2) from the fuel injector (3).
20. Repeat steps 18-19 for the remaining injectors.




21. Remove the fuel injector fuel return line assembly (1).




22. Remove the fuel feed pipe eye bolt (6) and washers (7).
23. Remove the fuel feed pipe clip bolt (1).
24. Remove the fuel feed pipe assembly (2).
25. Remove the indirect fuel injector bolts (3) and (4).
26. Remove the indirect fuel injector assembly (5).




27. Remove the high pressure fuel rail pipe bolt (1).
28. Remove the high pressure fuel rail pipe (2).




29. Remove the high pressure fuel rail crossover pipe bolts (1), (2), and (3).
30. Remove the high pressure fuel rail crossover pipe (4).




31. Remove the fuel return pipe bolt (1).
32. Remove the fuel return pipe (2).




33. Remove the fuel feed pipe bolts (1).
34. Remove the fuel feed pipe (2).
35. Remove the fuel feed hose (3).




36. Remove the fuel feed pipe clip bracket bolt (1) and bracket (2).




37. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve bracket bolt (2).
38. Remove the EGR bracket (1).




39. Remove the fuel feed hose bolt (1).




40. Remove the right fuel injector pipe bolts (1).
41. Remove the right fuel injector pipes (2).




42. Remove the left fuel injector pipe bolts (1).
43. Remove the left fuel injector pipes (2).




44. Remove the right fuel rail bolts (2).
45. Remove the right fuel rail (1).




46. Remove the intake manifold shield bolts (1).
47. Remove the intake manifold shield (2).




48. Remove the left fuel rail bolt (2).
49. Remove the left fuel rail bolt (1).
