Fan Pulley Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fan clutch. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .





3. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.





4. Remove the cooling fan pulley bolts (2) and nuts (3).

5. Remove the cooling fan pulley (1) and the cooling fan pulley spacer (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the cooling fan pulley spacer (4) and the cooling fan pulley (1).

2. Install the cooling fan pulley bolts (2) and nuts (3).





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Tighten the cooling fan pulley bolts (1) and nuts (2) in sequence to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).





4. Connect the camshaft position sensor connector.

5. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

6. Install the fan clutch. Refer to Fan Clutch Replacement Service and Repair.
