Transmission Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.

3. Remove the transmission support crossmember.

4. Remove the transmission mount mounting bolts, for RWD vehicles.





5. Remove the transmission mount mounting bolts, for 4WD vehicles.

6. Remove the transmission mount from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transmission mount to the vehicle.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the transmission mount mounting bolts, for 4WD vehicles, and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).





3. Install the transmission mount mounting bolts, for RWD vehicles, and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

4. Install the transmission support crossmember.

5. Remove the transmission jack.

6. Lower the vehicle.
