Front Brake Shield Replacement (J90, J95, J96)

Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Brake Dust Warning Brake Dust Warning.


1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.
3. Remove the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (2500, 3500) Service and RepairFront Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (1500) Service and Repair.




4. Remove the front brake shield (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front brake shield (1).
2. Install the wheel hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (2500, 3500) Service and RepairFront Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (1500) Service and Repair.
3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.
