Fuel High Pressure Pipe Replacement - Rail to Rail

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the high pressure fuel pipe fastener (1).
2. Remove the turbo charger assembly. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (LGH) Turbocharger Replacement (LGH)Turbocharger Replacement (LML) Turbocharger Replacement (LML).




3. Remove the high pressure fuel pipe fasteners (1).
4. Remove the high pressure fuel pipe fitting (2).
5. Remove the high pressure fuel pipe (3).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the high pressure fuel pipe fitting (2) and tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).
2. Install the high pressure fuel pipe fasteners (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in)




3. Install the high pressure fuel fastener (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in)
4. Install the turbo charger assembly. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement (LGH) Turbocharger Replacement (LGH)Turbocharger Replacement (LML) Turbocharger Replacement (LML).
5. Start the engine.
If the engine does not start, repeat the above step.
6. Inspect the fuel system for leaks.
