Front Side Door Step Mat Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement.

2. Remove the front door lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.





3. Grasp and gently pull up on the front door stepwell mat in order to release the retaining clips.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector for the stepwell lamp.

5. Remove the front door stepwell mat from the vehicle.

6. Inspect the front door stepwell mat for broken or missing retaining clips. Replace the retaining clips as needed.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door stepwell mat to the vehicle.

2. Connect the electrical connector for the stepwell lamp.

3. Press down on the front door stepwell mat in order to engage the retaining clips.

4. Install the front door lower pillar garnish molding. Refer to Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement Lower Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement.

5. Install the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement.
