Transmission Support Crossmember Replacement (4WD 2500/3500 Series)












2.Support the transmission with a transmission jack. As necessary, remove the exhaust hanger bracket. Refer to Exhaust Hanger Mounting Bracket Replacement .

3.Remove the transmission mount fasteners from the crossmember. Refer to Transmission Mount Replacement .

1Transmission Crossmember Bolt (Qty: 4)

Procedure

1.Remove all traces of the original adhesive patch.

2.Clean the threads of the bolt with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.

3.Apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488).

2Transmission Mount to Crossmember Nut (Qty: 4)
Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .
Tighten 107 N �m (79 lb ft)
