Rear Oil Seal Installation (2WD)

Tools Required

J 43782 Rear Seal Installer





1. Using J 43782 install the prop shaft front slip yoke oil seal (1).

2. Make sure the oil seal is installed to the correct depth below the rear face of the low and reverse clutch housing, 2WD (2).

The rear seal installed depth is 4.55-5.35 mm (0.179-0.211 in) below the rear face of the low and reverse clutch housing, 2WD.
