Brake and Accelerator Pedal Adjuster Position Sensor Replacement (With Memory Seats)

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

2. Remove the driver knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Except Cadillac) Service and RepairKnee Bolster Replacement (Cadillac) Service and Repair.





3. Disconnect the adjustable pedal position sensor jumper harness electrical connector (1).





4. Remove the adjustable pedal position sensor bolts (1).





5. Remove the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster position sensor (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the brake and accelerator pedal adjuster position sensor (1).





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the adjustable pedal position sensor bolts (1) and tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb in).





3. Connect the adjustable pedal position sensor jumper harness electrical connector (1).

4. Install the driver knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Except Cadillac) Service and RepairKnee Bolster Replacement (Cadillac) Service and Repair.
