The rear axle incorporates a coil spring suspended rigid axle consisting of coil springs, rear axle, shock absorbers upper arms and trailing rods, Figs. 1 and 2. The axle has a hypoid type ring gear and drive pinion with its centerline below the centerline of the ring gear.
